With the experience gained through many years of tradition and its expertise of warm and cold forming processes, Schmiedetechnik Plettenberg produces high-precision components for international customers from the automotive industry and from mechanical engineering.

In line with its strategic positioning, Schmiedetechnik Plettenberg produces forged parts for gear box, engine and powertrain. State-of-the-art production equipment at three manufacturing sites and a machining facility, all located in Germany, guarantee the production of high-precision parts according to the latest technology.

With an annual input of about 65.000 tons of raw material, Schmiedetechnik Plettenberg manufactures approx. 20 million forgings for a wide variety of applications in the automotive industry.
